Attack Resistance

Anti-Drilling:
DOM  cylinders have been developed with optimum security in mind. The hardened metal pins within the housing (in blue) have been specifically designed to offer drill resistance as standard. Our range of conventional and reversible cylinders complies with class 2 resistance to drilling in accordance with DIN EN 1303:2005.

Anti-Snaping:
The DOM Modular System has been developed to offer increased snap protection. The connecting bar (in dark grey) runs along the base of the cylinder housing and acts to reinforce and strenghten the cylinder to withstand forced entry. The  DOM Modular system is available for all European profile cylinders in our conventional and reversible ranges.

Anti-Bumping:
The  DOM technical department  is continually working to develop resistant products with anti-bump technology being one of the most recent major developments. The Pins and Wafers used in our cylinders have been specifically designed to resist against this type of attack and offer a high level of security.
